As all my albums do, this album contains several genres of music but the most prevalent influence is Middle Eastern and dissonant scales. A diminished scale is used in at least one part of every song on this album. I'm not traditionally trained in any one type of music, so every song is influenced by certain genres but none of them are purely any one genre. They are my musical interpretations of those genres.

On the album cover is the circle of 4ths and 5ths. For those that are not so musically inclined, the circle is an extremely helpful tool for musicians of all levels of music. The corroded section in this rendition of the circle are the overplayed keys; almost every pop song, bluegrass song, folk song, etc.
